Originally from Yorkshire Helen has lived in Sunbury for 23 years. She is married to Ian, formerly Leader of Spelthorne Borough Council, and they have two school age children. After a successful blue-chip marketing career Helen left to concentrate on her family and personal business interests.

Helen believes in family values and is a strong advocate of children’s health. She is passionate about her local community and committed to ensuring any lingering plans to develop Kempton Park are successfully resisted. Helen has a good understanding of the local and Borough wide issues. Having seen what a difference local Councillors can make to their community, Helen works closely with her husband to ensure Lower Sunbury is strongly represented on Spelthorne Borough Council, in particular in areas that matter to Lower Sunbury residents.

Helen was elected as a Councillor for the Sunbury East ward in the 2 May 2019 local election and until recently was a Cabinet member with responsibility for the Councils property investment portfolio and town centre regeneration.
